I am trying to test and fix the below script, to see if it resolves the multiple login issue again, but for the life of me I cannot find the gmail.js script in Windows 7, seems to be completely different. Anybody know where to find it in Windows 7, see below possible fix from previous issues a while back
To get WMN working again with Gmail accounts, close Firefox, then change the following 2 lines in gmail.js (located in the \Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.default\extensions\{37fa1426-b82d-11db-8314-0800200c9a66}\components\scripts folder):
I notice that gmail.js different Line [number] to newer Line [number], also AOL...
What I did? "workable" WMN 2.8.3, I DRAG aol.js and gmail.js out of scripts folder.
I update to WMN 2.9.1, and I DRAG back into and replace aol.js and gmail.js.
Restart Firefox to "Kosherlized".
My FIRST gmail checked fine and second gmail did not checked at all.
My ALL AOL do NOT check at all.
That mean aol.js and gmail.js ARE NOT to be blame.
I guess Tobwithu did something write new code inside WMN program not aol.js or gmail.js (I notice something change in gmail.js regardless new or old gmail.js still problem on WMN 2.9.1)
So I revert to 2.8.3 for now... (because yahoo did not affect me yet.)
I had this happen since the update to 2.9.
reverting to 2.8.3 and all my Gmail accounts are checked again.
My WMN only checks 7 Gmails... 5 worked.. 2 didn't.
This is the first time I experienced a problem with this add-on. Version 2.9 may have fixed some issues but broke a lot of things that were working fine on 2.8.3 too. Gmail accounts are not being checked. My default yahoo account keeps opening a new tab instead of reusing the same that's already open, even if there's no new mail. I thought that 2.9.1 would fix it but it's still the same. Disabling or enabling the "Show login verification window" for yahoo accounts, and clearing all internet cache didn't help at all.
I'm going back to version 2.8.3 and wait until this issue is fixed. It's a good thing I still have a copy of the old version.
Tobwithu need to keep it up by doing update WMN, because of Firefox update TOOOOO OFTEN!
I am still using Firefox 3.6.25 and playing with Firefox 10 beta.
I am JUST guess that Tobwithu write TWO code on WMN...
one for FF 3 to FF 10?
and
second one for FF 11? or 12?
So Tobwithu wrote new code "ahead" for new Firefox release in future, that cause some work or not...
Also Tobwithu try his best to work around, because of Yahoo Captcha Code as Tobwithu explain recently see other forum that Tobwithu wrote.
The only issue now with reverting back, is as soon as you reboot the PC it upgrades back to 2.9.1, so you have to turn the Add On auto update off until there is a new fix release
Finally, everything seems to be back to normal after the release of version 2.9.2. No more random opening of tabs even though there are no new mails. No more duplicate tabs so far. My 3 Gmail, 6 yahoo, 1 hotmail, 1 rocketmail, 1 ymail and 1 Windows Live Mail accounts are all being checked now with no problems on Firefox 9.0.1.
Strangely, even though I have Options, Advanced, Updates set to automatically check for updates to both Thunderbird and add-ons... I'm still on WMN 2.8.3, with Thunderbird 10.0. I have 'Ask me what I want to do' checked also for TB updates.
One of my Facebook accounts had a problem over the last week or two... apparently with the 'new device' or alerting function... which was keeping WMN from checking my FB account. I clicked the account to manually log in, told FF/TB to 'remember' passwords again, and 'saved' the 'new' device name to FB (it wasn't new, Facebook just forgot/gagged on it... maybe I had cleared cookies)... then email checking started working again.
In Firefox 9.01, WMN auto-updated, but only to 2.9 (at least, that's what Tools, Add-ons (manager) says. Guess the .1/.2 fixes aren't 'officialized' enough (yet) for auto-update. Updated to 2.9.2 ...all seems well.
Guess I'll update TB now. :-/

Fix from months ago:
Easy Fix
Gmail changed the login from https://www.google.com to https://accounts.google.com
Line 13
FROM
this.loginData=["https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLoginAuth?service=mail",
TO
this.loginData=["https://accounts.google.com/accounts/ServiceLoginAuth?service=mail",
Line 20
FROM
this.loginData=["https://www.google.com/a/"+ar[1]+"/LoginAction2?service=mail",
TO
this.loginData=["https://accounts.google.com/a/"+ar[1]+"/LoginAction2?service=mail",
Play and switch between 2.8.3 and 2.9.1 *.js*

I had this happen since the update to 2.9.
reverting to 2.8.3 and all my Gmail accounts are checked again.

Don't fix it if it's not broken.

Basically Tobwithu try his best to keep it up the pace, that other program(s) and website(s) update toooooo often.
Thanks for understanding, CFBancroft
Revert back and then disable

I think this issue is closed and solved.
